Indicator: B1.5.3.1.1 - Collect types of data
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify objects and items around them that can be counted and recorded as data.
- Collect data by counting different types of items in their classroom and school environment.
- Record collected data accurately in a table or book using tally marks and numbers.
- Talk about the different types of data they gathered and explain what the numbers tell them.
- Work together in groups to collect and share data with the rest of the class.
