Learning Objectives
Indicator: 2.1.2.LI.3 - Develop ICT-software skills and apply them to techniques in Drama.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least three ICT software tools (e.g., Scriptwriter, Adobe Photoshop, video editing software) and explain their specific uses in drama production.
- Use drama scripting software to format a one-page scene script with proper character names, dialogue, and stage directions.
- Apply blocking and staging techniques to a short scene and record the blocking plan using a digital storyboard created with available ICT tools.
- Collaborate in small groups to develop a two-to-three-minute dramatic scene on an emerging African topical issue, integrating at least one ICT tool in the creative process.
- Present their ICT-supported dramatic scene to the class and give constructive feedback to peers using criteria-based language.
