By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify the twelve months of the year when they hear them spoken in French in an audio or audio-visual document.
Match spoken French month names to their written forms and their equivalents in English or a Ghanaian language.
Answer simple comprehension questions (who, what, when) about a short audio or audio-visual document on the months of the year.
Sequence the months correctly after listening to a song or dialogue about the months.
Recognise key words and phrases associated with the months (such as “janvier”, “en février”, “au mois de mars”) in a listening passage.
