Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.5.3.5.3 - Identify and agree on a common goal when participating in a cooperative physical activity.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. State what a common goal is and give at least two examples of common goals in cooperative physical activities.
  2. Work in a group to discuss and identify one shared goal for a given cooperative game.
  3. Agree on a common goal with teammates through listening, speaking and compromise.
  4. Participate actively in a cooperative physical activity while pursuing the agreed common goal.
  5. Reflect on how their group’s cooperation helped or hindered the achievement of the agreed goal.
