Learning Objectives

Indicator: B4.5.3.5.3 - Demonstrate respect for self, others, and equipment during physical activities.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. State at least three ways to show respect for themselves during physical activities, such as warming up properly and listening to their bodies.
  2. Identify and demonstrate at least three respectful behaviours when working with peers during physical activities, including taking turns and encouraging others.
  3. Explain and demonstrate the correct use of at least two pieces of PE equipment, showing how to handle them safely.
  4. Apply the rules of self-integrity, such as honesty and fair play, during a group physical activity without teacher reminders.
  5. Evaluate a short scenario and suggest respectful responses to show care for self, others, and equipment.
