Learning Objectives

Indicator: B3.5.4.5.4 - Demonstrate how to solve a problem with another person during physical activity.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify at least two common problems that can occur between peers during physical activity and explain why they happen.
  2. Demonstrate at least two appropriate ways to solve a problem with a partner during a physical activity, including the use of embracing as a sign of resolution.
  3. Show willingness to embrace their peers after physical activity as a way of settling disagreements and building peace.
  4. Work cooperatively with a partner to complete a physical activity task without arguing or giving up.
  5. Reflect on a personal experience where embracing or talking helped solve a problem during play and share that reflection with the class.
