Learning Objectives
Indicator: B2.5.4.5.4 - Collect data and record progress toward mastery of a motor skill in physical activity.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Demonstrate a selected motor skill (for example, bouncing a ball, hopping on one foot, or throwing and catching) and identify what makes the skill correct.
- Count and record the number of successful attempts of the motor skill using a simple tally chart or table.
- Compare their first attempt record with their later attempt record to see if they have improved.
- Explain in one or two sentences what they did to improve their score between attempts.
- Show respect for their own effort and the effort of their classmates when discussing progress records.
