Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.1.2.4.1 - Écrire à un correspondant ; donner son nom, son prénom, sa nationalité
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Write a short letter or postcard to a pen pal, beginning with “Cher/Chère correspondant(e)” and including their name, surname and nationality in complete French sentences.
- Complete a model postcard correctly, filling in blanks with their own name, surname and nationality using the structure “Je m’appelle … et je suis …”.
- Produce a simple identity card, drawing and filling it with the required personal information (nom, prénom, nationalité).
- Apply correct spelling and capitalisation for names and nationalities when writing about themselves.
- Self-check their writing against a simple checklist to ensure all required information (name, surname, nationality) is present.
