Indicator: B4.1.2.4.1 - Écrire à un correspondant ; donner son nom, son prénom, sa nationalité

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Write a short letter or postcard to a pen pal, beginning with “Cher/Chère correspondant(e)” and including their name, surname and nationality in complete French sentences.
  2. Complete a model postcard correctly, filling in blanks with their own name, surname and nationality using the structure “Je m’appelle … et je suis …”.
  3. Produce a simple identity card, drawing and filling it with the required personal information (nom, prénom, nationalité).
  4. Apply correct spelling and capitalisation for names and nationalities when writing about themselves.
  5. Self-check their writing against a simple checklist to ensure all required information (name, surname, nationality) is present.
