Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.1.1.1.1 - Écouter/Regarder et comprendre un document audio-visuel dans lequel deux personnes se saluent
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and name at least three French greetings (Salut, Bonjour, Bonsoir) when heard in an audio-visual document.
- Distinguish between formal greetings (Bonjour, Bonsoir) and informal greetings (Salut) based on the speakers and the situation shown.
- Match spoken greetings to the correct time of day (morning, afternoon, evening) when watching a video or listening to an audio recording.
- Answer simple comprehension questions (who, where, what time) about a short video or audio clip in which two people greet each other.
- Summarise in English or with short French phrases what two people say to each other when they meet and part in a video extract.
