Learning Objectives

Indicator: B4.1.1.4.1 - Écrire des mots de salutation simples

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Copy the French greeting words Bonjour, Ça va ?, Au revoir, À bientôt, and À demain correctly in their exercise books.
  2. Write the titles Monsieur and Madame correctly and match them to the correct person (man or woman).
  3. Spell at least four out of the five greeting words from memory without looking at the board.
  4. Write each greeting word under the correct picture or situation (morning, meeting, leaving, seeing someone soon, seeing someone tomorrow).
  5. Produce a neat and legible written list of greetings that they can read back aloud.
