By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read a short dialogue in French in which two people greet each other and identify who is speaking.
Match key greeting expressions (Bonjour, Bonsoir, Salut, Ça va?) to the correct image from a set of pictures showing greeting scenes.
Answer simple comprehension questions (yes/no and who/what questions) about a short greeting text read in class.
Sequence three or four picture cards in the correct order to show a complete greeting scene, from arrival to departure.
Act out a short greeting scene from a picture they have read, using the French expressions shown in the text.
