Indicator: B4.1.1.1.1 - Écouter/Regarder et comprendre un document audio-visuel dans lequel deux personnes se saluent
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least 4 different French greeting expressions when they hear them in an audio-visual document.
- Match spoken French greetings to the correct time of day (le matin, l’après-midi, le soir) and context (formal or informal).
- Answer simple comprehension questions about a video where two people greet each other.
- Distinguish between greetings used at home, school, market and hospital settings based on who is speaking.
- Use visual clues, gestures and tone of voice to guess the meaning of unfamiliar greetings in a video.
