Learning Objectives
Indicator: 3.2.4.LI.4 - Écrire un texte sur ses responsabilités envers son État (Production et interaction écrites).
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and list at least six civic responsibilities of a Ghanaian citizen in French, using vocabulary from previous lessons (voting, paying taxes, obeying laws, volunteering, protecting the environment, national service, jury duty).
- Write a short newspaper article of 80 to 120 words in French on the theme “Les devoirs du citoyen envers son État”, using the present tense and appropriate connectors (d’abord, ensuite, enfin, aussi, car, parce que).
- Create a short public awareness slogan or publicity text in French of 2 to 3 sentences encouraging citizens to fulfil a specific duty, such as paying taxes or voting.
- Structure a written text with a clear introduction, body and conclusion, demonstrating organisation appropriate for a Level 3 (strategic reasoning) task.
- Review and give constructive feedback on a peer’s written text, checking for inclusion of key responsibilities and basic grammatical accuracy, demonstrating the collaboration and respect emphasised in the core competencies.
