Roles and Relationships
Lesson notes
Learning Objectives
Indicator: B3.4.1.1.2 - Identify the benefits of responding to God’s call.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State at least four ways we respond to God’s call, such as prayer, service, caring for the environment, and helping the needy.
- Explain at least three benefits of responding to God’s call, such as blessings from God, drawing closer to God, and eternal life.
- Give one real example from their own life or community of someone who benefited from answering God’s call.
- Work in groups to list four benefits of responding to God’s call and present their findings to the class.
- Show willingness to respond to God’s call through prayer and service in their daily activities.
This lesson builds on what learners discussed in Term 3, Week 2 about God’s promises to humankind. The benefits of responding to God’s call are closely linked to the promises God makes to those who obey Him. The moral lessons from responding to God’s call will be explored in next week’s lesson, so today we focus only on the benefits.
