Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.4.3.1.1 - Review the various applications of robotic machines in society
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State at least five different applications of robotic machines in society, giving one example of a robot for each application.
- Explain, in their own words, how robots are used in at least three sectors (for example, health, manufacturing, and education).
- Identify at least two prospects (benefits) and two challenges of using robots in various operations.
- Present a short oral report (2 to 3 minutes) on a robot application, organising ideas in a clear order with relevant details.
- Discuss at least one societal issue that arises from the increasing use of robots, such as job loss or cost of deployment.
