Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.2.1.1.2 - State the purpose of worship in the three main religions.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State at least three purposes of worship in Christianity, Islam, and African Traditional Religion.
- Explain why worshippers draw closer to God through worship in the three main religions.
- Give one example of how worship shows obedience to God in each of the three main religions.
- Recognise the need to take an active part in worship, not just attend passively.
- Draw and colour a worship scene showing at least one purpose of worship.
