Indicator: B3.2.1.1.2 - Give reasons for studying the sacred scriptures of the three major religions among their followers.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State at least three reasons why followers of the three major religions in Ghana study their sacred scriptures.
- Explain how studying sacred scriptures helps people draw closer to God.
- Identify at least one moral lesson from a sacred text of their own religion and one from another religion.
- Recite or read aloud a short passage from a sacred scripture and say what it teaches them.
- Show respect for all three sacred scriptures during class discussions and activities.
