Learning Objectives

Indicator: B2.2.1.1.2 - Sing and recite simple texts from the three main religions in Ghana.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Mention at least two popular religious songs or recitations from each of the three main religions in Ghana (Christianity, Islam, and African Traditional Religion).
  2. Recite the Lord’s Prayer from the Christian tradition with confidence and understanding.
  3. Recite Al-Fatihah from the Islamic tradition with teacher guidance and show respect for its meaning.
  4. Recite a simple traditional prayer from the African Traditional Religion and explain when it is used.
  5. Write out a short simple text from at least one of the three religious traditions studied.
