Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.2.2.1.3 - Identify the moral values in religious songs and recitations.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and name at least four moral values embedded in religious songs and recitations (such as motivation, humility, contentment, and acknowledgement of the power of God).
- Explain, in their own words, what each moral value means and how it appears in the lyrics of a given religious song.
- Match selected lines from religious songs and recitations to the specific moral value being expressed.
- Demonstrate, through role play, how at least one moral value from a religious song can be applied in their daily life at home or school.
- Reflect on and share how a religious song or recitation has personally encouraged them to act in a morally good way.
