Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.3.2.1.2 - Recognise and respond to key ideas from a passage about a given topic.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- List what they already know about religious festivals and celebrations in Arabic sentences or phrases.
- Formulate three to five questions in Arabic about what they want to learn from a given passage.
- Read a moderate Arabic passage about a religious festival at a reasonable speed and identify the key ideas.
- Answer comprehension questions in Arabic that draw out the main points from the passage.
- Explain the key ideas of the passage in a clear order with relevant detail, using structured speech.
