Indicator: B8.3.2.1.2

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Read a given Arabic text silently and identify the central idea (الفكرة الرئيسية) of the whole passage.
  2. Generate main ideas from different segments or paragraphs of a text and express them in their own words.
  3. Write a short summary of a given text in Arabic, connecting the central idea with the secondary ideas.
  4. Answer comprehension questions in complete Arabic sentences, drawing information from different parts of the text.
  5. Compare and make a judgement about the viewpoints expressed in a text, using evidence from the text.
