Learning Objectives
Indicator: K2.1.6.1.5 - Draw and colour an object that can hurt, harm, have a sharp edge, etc. and legibly write/scribe the name under it.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Name at least three objects in their environment that can hurt or harm them (e.g., knife, broken bottle, fire, sharp blade).
- Draw and colour a clear picture of one object that can cause harm or has a sharp edge.
- Write or scribe the name of the drawn object legibly under the picture, using the letter-sound knowledge from the week.
- Talk about their drawing with a friend, explaining why the object is dangerous and how to stay safe from it.
- Respond to the shared reading of the book related to the theme and connect it to their drawings.
