Learning Objectives

Indicator: K2.1.6.1.5 - Draw and colour an object that can hurt, harm, have a sharp edge, etc. and legibly write/scribe the name under it.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Name at least three objects in their environment that can hurt or harm them (e.g., knife, broken bottle, fire, sharp blade).
Draw and colour a clear picture of one object that can cause harm or has a sharp edge.
Write or scribe the name of the drawn object legibly under the picture, using the letter-sound knowledge from the week.
Talk about their drawing with a friend, explaining why the object is dangerous and how to stay safe from it.
Respond to the shared reading of the book related to the theme and connect it to their drawings.
