Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.3.3.1.1 - Identify and use indefinite pronouns e.g. someone, anyone, everything etc. Possessive pronouns to show possession, e.g. mine, ours etc.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify indefinite pronouns (someone, anyone, everyone, no one, something, anything, everything, nothing) in given sentences and a short passage.
- Use indefinite pronouns correctly to complete sentences and compose their own sentences.
- Identify possessive pronouns (mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs, its) in given sentences.
- Distinguish between possessive pronouns and the possessive adjectives they often replace (e.g. my book becomes mine).
- Write a short passage of four to six sentences that includes at least two indefinite pronouns and two possessive pronouns correctly.
