Learning Objectives
Indicator: 2.1.3.LI.2 - Analyse the codes and regulations of art and design practices in Ghana
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Recall and list at least five professional bodies and their codes of conduct that regulate art and design practices in Ghana.
- Distinguish between the codes and regulations that govern at least three different art and design professions (graphic design, textiles design, ceramics, and sculpture).
- Analyse how specific codes and regulations protect clients, practitioners, and the cultural heritage of Ghana.
- Work collaboratively in mixed groups to create a manual on the professional code of conduct for one art and design profession, citing at least three relevant regulations.
- Present and defend their group’s manual to the whole class using appropriate professional communication.
