Learning Objectives

Indicator: 1.2.1.LI.2 - Identify the factors of production and their rewards.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. List all four factors of production with at least one real-world example for each.
  2. Match each factor of production to its corresponding reward (rent, wages, interest, profit).
  3. Explain in their own words why each factor of production earns its specific reward in an economy like Ghana.
  4. Identify the factors of production operating within a given business scenario and state what reward each factor receives.
  5. Demonstrate through a short group presentation how all four factors combine in a Ghanaian business to produce goods or services.
