Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.1.10.3.1 - Research and deliver speeches on given informational topics
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Select an informational topic of personal interest from texts they have read in class or at home.
- Use library or classroom resources to research at least three key facts or ideas about their chosen topic.
- Organise their researched facts into a clear sequence: introduction, body, and conclusion.
- Deliver a short speech of at least one minute to the class, speaking clearly and at a good pace, building on the pace and expression work from Week 9.
- Listen attentively to peers’ speeches and give one piece of positive feedback and one suggestion for improvement.
