Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.1.10.3.7 - Speak with confidence before peers and maintain eye contact
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain what eye contact is and why it matters when speaking to a group
- Demonstrate maintaining eye contact with a partner while discussing a familiar topic
- Present a short talk (3 to 5 sentences) to a small group with steady eye contact
- Identify at least two signs of speaking confidently, such as a clear voice and looking at the audience
- Give one piece of encouraging feedback to a peer after a presentation
