Learning Objectives

Indicator: B4.1.10.3.3 - Gather and select facts and ideas from one or multiple print and/or non-print sources, appropriate to the purpose, audience, context and culture

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify at least two different sources (print or non-print) where information about a chosen topic can be found.
  2. Gather at least three relevant facts or ideas about a chosen topic from a given source.
  3. Select and sort the gathered facts, distinguishing between relevant and irrelevant information for the purpose and audience.
  4. Work in a group to pool facts from multiple sources about one topic and present a short list of the most useful facts.
