Indicator: B4.1.10.2.2 - Read aloud clearly, at a good pace and with expression
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read a short poem or passage aloud with clear pronunciation of each word.
- Read at a steady, understandable pace without rushing or dragging.
- Use their voice to show feeling, matching expression to the mood of the text.
- Pause briefly at full stops and commas, and raise or lower their voice where the text suggests it.
- Listen to a classmate read and give one helpful comment about their pace or expression.
