Indicator: B4.1.10.2.2 - Read aloud clearly, at a good pace and with expression

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Read a short poem or passage aloud with clear pronunciation of each word.
  2. Read at a steady, understandable pace without rushing or dragging.
  3. Use their voice to show feeling, matching expression to the mood of the text.
  4. Pause briefly at full stops and commas, and raise or lower their voice where the text suggests it.
  5. Listen to a classmate read and give one helpful comment about their pace or expression.
