By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and name at least three verbal cues (tone of voice, volume, clear words) and three non-verbal cues (posture, eye contact, facial expression, gestures) used in speaking.
- Demonstrate appropriate posture and eye contact when speaking to a teacher, a friend, or a group.
- Match appropriate verbal and non-verbal cues to different speaking situations, such as greeting an elder or cheering a friend.
- Role-play a short conversation using appropriate posture, eye contact, and verbal and non-verbal cues to convey meaning clearly.
- Explain why posture, eye contact, and other cues matter when presenting information to different people.
