Learning Objectives

Indicator: 1.1.3.LI.2 - Dialoga con un compañero/una compañera sobre lugares de residencia. (Expresión oral)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Ask someone where they live using the question forms ¿Dónde vives? (informal) and ¿Dónde vive? (formal), distinguishing when to use each.
Respond correctly to questions about place of residence using “Vivo en…” followed by a town, city, region, or country.
Identify and use at least 8 common Spanish place names and types of dwellings (apartamento, casa, ciudad, pueblo, etc.) in spoken sentences.
Participate in a paired dialogue with a classmate, asking and answering questions about where each person lives, with correct pronunciation and intonation.
Demonstrate awareness of formal versus informal register by choosing tú or usted appropriately when asking about residence in different social situations.
