Indicator: B6.1.3.3.1 - Lire et comprendre le portrait/biographie d’une personne historique
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read a short biography of a historical figure in French and identify key personal details such as name, date of birth, place of birth and profession.
- Answer simple comprehension questions in French based on a biographical text.
- Match French vocabulary related to biography (naissance, né(e), mort, décédé(e), connu(e) pour) with their meanings.
- Distinguish between facts that describe a person’s early life and facts that describe their achievements.
- Create a short oral summary of a historical figure’s life using information from the text.
