Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.1.3.4.1 - Écrire une carte postale à un/une correspondant(e) pour présenter quelqu’un en donnant sa date de naissance, son lieu de naissance, son numéro de téléphone
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the parts of a postcard (greeting, introduction, body, closing, address) in French.
- Write the date of birth (date de naissance), place of birth (lieu de naissance) and telephone number (numéro de téléphone) of a person in a complete French sentence.
- Use the phrases “Je te présente…”, “Il/Elle est né(e) le…”, “Il/Elle est né(e) à…” and “Son numéro de téléphone est…” correctly in writing.
- Compose a short postcard of 4 to 6 sentences presenting a family member or friend to a pen pal (correspondant/correspondante).
- Apply masculine and feminine agreement correctly when writing about a male or female person (né vs née).
