Learning Objectives

Indicator: 2.3.2.LI.2 - Mount in-person, digital, and/or online exhibitions of their own art or design works and that of others.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Distinguish the key features, advantages and limitations of in-person, digital and online exhibition formats using photographs and video documentation.
  2. Select and prepare appropriate 2-D and 3-D artworks for exhibition, applying criteria such as quality, theme and audience.
  3. Mount a small-scale in-person exhibition of their own and peers’ artworks within the school environment.
  4. Create a simple digital or online exhibition (for example, using a phone camera and a free platform) of 2-D and 3-D works.
  5. Evaluate the success of their mounted exhibition using guided reflection questions.
