Indicator: B6.1.3.1.2 - Discuss values in poems and talk about the importance of these values in society
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least three values embedded in a selected poem through guided questioning.
- Explain the meaning of key lines in a poem using appropriate vocabulary and expressions.
- Discuss the importance of the identified values in day-to-day living in their community.
- Relate the values from the poem to real-life situations in Ghanaian society with clear examples.
- Work collaboratively in groups to present their understanding of a poem’s values to the class.
