Indicator: B4.1.3.1.1 - Recite poems with stress, rhythm and actions and interpret them in their own words
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Listen to and observe a short poem performed by the teacher with correct stress, rhythm and actions.
- Identify the key words in a poem and explain their meanings in context.
- Recite a short poem in groups, pairs and individually, using appropriate stress and rhythm.
- Add simple actions to match the meaning of the poem.
- Explain the meaning of the poem in their own words.
