Learning Objectives
Indicator: K2.6.5.1.6 - Draw and label the parts of a plant
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the main parts of a flowering plant (root, stem, leaf, flower) when shown a real plant or a picture.
- Draw a simple plant using a pencil or crayon, showing at least four distinct parts.
- Label the parts of their drawn plant by copying or tracing the correct name under each part.
- Match the correct name card to the correct part on their drawing.
- Talk about what each part does, using vocabulary learnt in Week 5 (for example, “the root holds the plant in the soil”).
