Learning Objectives
Indicator: K1.6.5.1.6 - Describing the position and motion of objects in relation to others.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Describe the position of plants and plant parts using words like first, second, third, fourth, fifth, last, in front, behind, and between.
- Identify the position of a specific plant in a picture when asked, for example, “Which plant is the third one?”
- Colour a particular plant at a stated position in a row or grid, for example, “Colour the second flower.”
- Name the position of an object in relation to another object, for example, “The mango tree is behind the pawpaw tree.”
- Use position words correctly when talking about pictures of plants they have seen in their surroundings.
