Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.2.2.3.3 - Create own artworks using available performing arts media and techniques to express own views, knowledge and understanding of performing artworks that reflect topical issues in Ghana
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- identify at least three topical issues currently trending in Ghana that can be expressed through performing arts.
- select one topical issue and explain in their own words how music, dance, drama or poetry can communicate a message about it.
- plan a short own artwork (music, dance, drama or poetry) that expresses a personal view on a chosen topical issue.
- perform or present the created artwork using at least two performing arts elements (such as rhythm, movement, voice, character or expression).
- give and receive constructive feedback through jury and peer review, using simple criteria to discuss strengths and areas for improvement.
