By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- List at least two natural features and two manmade features of their local community that can inspire performing arts works
- Name at least three instruments or resources used by local performing artists in their community
- Sort a given set of instruments and resources into “natural” and “manmade” categories
- Explain in one or two simple sentences how a chosen local instrument or resource can be used in a dance, song, or drama about their community
- Draw or describe a simple plan for a short performance that reflects one natural or manmade feature of their community
