Indicator: B7.5.3.1.1 - Discuss the factors to consider when planning a meal
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and explain at least six different types of meals served in a day, giving examples of each.
- State and explain at least five factors to consider when planning a meal for a family.
- Apply the factors of meal planning to create a simple one-day meal plan for a family of four within a given budget.
- Justify their meal choices by linking each choice to at least one meal planning factor.
- Work in groups to present a meal plan, explaining their decisions in a clear, logical order.
