Indicator: 1.2.1.LI.1 - Explain the concept of physical activity

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define physical activity in their own words, distinguishing it from mere movement.
  2. Identify at least five different forms of physical activity from their daily lives.
  3. Categorize physical activities into at least three types (e.g., occupational, recreational, and transportation-related).
  4. Explain the concept of physical activity to a peer using concrete examples from the Ghanaian context.
  5. Assess whether a given example counts as physical activity and justify their reasoning.
