Learning Objectives

Indicator: K2.1.3.1.6 - Draw and colour items we use in caring for parts of the body and copy their functions boldly and legibly underneath the drawing.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify and name at least three items used for caring for the body (for example, toothbrush, sponge, comb).
  2. Draw and colour at least one item used for caring for the body, showing neatness and attention to detail.
  3. Copy the name and function of the item from the board onto their drawing page, writing boldly and legibly.
  4. Match each body-care item to its correct function through oral explanation.
  5. Talk about why it is important to use these items every day to keep their bodies clean.
