Learning Objectives

Indicator: K2.1.3.1.2 - Talk about the visual information on the cover page and respond to a read aloud text about caring of the human body.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Point to and name the cover page of a book and identify the title, picture, and author’s name.
Explain one reason why a book has a cover page (to show what the book is about, to help the reader know the story before reading).
Share what they already know (K) and what they want to know (W) about caring for the body before listening to the text.
Respond to a read aloud text by telling one thing they learnt (L) about caring for the body.
Act out at least three key actions from the text, such as washing, brushing, and cutting nails.
