Learning Objectives

Indicator: B2.4.2.1.1 - Copy sentences clearly

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Copy a short sentence from the board into their exercise books with correct letter formation.
  2. Maintain consistent spacing between words (intra-word spacing) and between letters within a word (inter-letter spacing).
  3. Align letters properly on the line, using the baseline as a guide for all lowercase letters.
  4. Produce a copied sentence that is legible and neat enough for the teacher to read without effort.
  5. Check their own copied work against the original and correct any obvious errors in spacing or letter shape.
