Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.4.3.4.1 - Écrire une carte postale à un(e) correspondant(e) pour lui décrire ses activités à l’école durant la semaine

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. List the seven days of the week in French in the correct order (lundi, mardi, mercredi, jeudi, vendredi, samedi, dimanche).
  2. Write at least five sentences describing school activities on different days using the present tense with “je” (for example, “Le lundi, je joue au football”).
  3. Identify the structure of a postcard (date, greeting, body, closing, signature) by labelling a model postcard.
  4. Compose a short postcard of 6 to 8 sentences to a pen pal, describing at least three different school activities on three different days of the week.
  5. Use time markers correctly (le lundi, le mardi, etc.) before verbs to show when an activity happens.
