Learning Objectives

Indicator: B4.4.3.4.2 - Écrire une carte postale à un(e) ami(e) pour lui raconter comment on passe sa journée.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  • Identify the key parts of a postcard in French (le lieu, la date, la salutation, le message, la formule de politesse, la signature)
  • Write 4 to 6 complete French sentences describing their daily activities using the days of the week and the present tense
  • Structure a short postcard message to a friend using the correct opening and closing formulas in French
  • Apply proper spelling of the days of the week (lundi, mardi, mercredi, jeudi, vendredi, samedi, dimanche) and common activity verbs (je me lève, je vais à l’école, je mange, je joue, je dors)
  • Produce a neat, complete postcard with all required elements, showing care for presentation and organisation
