Learning Objectives

Indicator: B9.10.2.1.3 - Lire, comprendre et réagir à un texte sur l’informatique (Réception écrite / Compréhension des écrits)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read aloud a short French text about computers and technology with accurate pronunciation of key vocabulary such as “ordinateur”, “clavier”, “souris”, “télécharger” and “Internet”.
Identify and state at least five advantages (avantages) and three disadvantages (inconvénients) of computers and the Internet mentioned in a reading text.
Answer comprehension questions in French (complete sentences) that test understanding of main ideas and specific details from a text on informatique.
React personally to the text by giving their own opinion, using expressions like “À mon avis”, “Je pense que” and “Pour moi”.
Match new vocabulary from the text to the correct computer-related item or action (e.g., “cliquer avec la souris”, “enregistrer un dossier”, “supprimer un fichier”).
