Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.5.1.1.1 - Describe the economic exchanges between Ghana and her neighbours
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Name at least three neighbouring countries of Ghana (Togo, Burkina Faso, and Côte d’Ivoire) and state what they exchange with Ghana.
- Identify at least four types of goods and services exchanged between Ghana and her neighbours, giving specific examples of each.
- Describe at least two forms of economic exchange beyond trading goods, such as people crossing borders for work.
- Explain in writing at least two reasons why economic exchanges between Ghana and her neighbours are important for everyday life.
- Work in small groups to sort pictures or descriptions of goods into the correct neighbouring country where they are exchanged.
