Indicator: B4.5.1.2.1 - Explain the uses of rocks

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify at least four different types of rocks found in their local environment.
  2. Explain at least three uses of rocks in everyday life, such as building houses and constructing roads.
  3. Role play or demonstrate a specific use of rocks in a community setting.
  4. Sort and group rocks according to their uses in the community.
  5. Discuss why rocks are important to people in different parts of Ghana and neighbouring countries.
